Helmand appellate court building inaugurated

LASHKARGAH (PANinfo-icon): A building for the appellate court of southern Helmand province was inaugurated on Monday, officials said.

The two-storey building has 19 rooms and two meeting halls, the governor of Helmand, Mohammad Gulab Mangal, told Pajhwok Afghan News during the inaugural ceremony.

The building cost $870,000 (39.28 million afghanis) and was funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAIDinfo-icon), he said.

Mangal asked justice officials to improve their work and investigate all cases on time in order to win people’s trust in the government.
