Another 18 gunmen loyal to the group were wounded in the separate air and ground offensives during the past 24-hours, Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

In Chaparhar district, four IS militants were killed and two others were wounded in a clash with security forces in Garazo area on Sunday, said Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal, the provincial police spokesman.
